No. They can use the parent web portal and receive receipts and alerts on ordinary WhatsApp. That is the point of the WhatsApp Cloud integration.
JEdu connects to Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. Conversation charges from Meta are billed according to Meta’s rates for your school’s number. We set up the integration; we do not hide that line item.
Staff punches can be imported from standard machine logs (CSV). Classroom student attendance is marked in JEdu. Tell us your device brand on the demo call so we can confirm the import format.
